EMPTIES – #21 WOULD I REPURCHASE? (PUMPED OR DUMPED)

Standard

I haven’t done an empties since June! 😮 I’ve accumulated quite a bit so I’m just going to start.

img_8103

Sephora – Dry Clean Instant Dry Brush Cleaner Spray – Retails for $14.00 – Pumped

I really liked this brush cleaner for spot cleaning brushes in between my shampooing. It didn’t leave a greasy feeling and did a great job of cleaning the brushes. However, I really like the Make Up Forever Instant Brush Cleaner as well and it retails for $12.00 for 1.69 and the bottle isn’t aerosol so I’ve repurchased that instead.

img_8105

Burt’s Bees – Herbal Blemish Stick – Retails for $7.99 at ULTA – Pumped

I really like this for my blemishes. It is all natural and works to dry up my spots. It’s in a roller ball so it’s easy to use as well and I’ve repurchased it several times.

img_8104

Dionis – Crisp Pear Hand Cream – Retails for $2.99 from ULTA – Meh

This smelled nice and worked okay, but it didn’t feel any different to me than any other lotion. I’ve been on the search for a good hand cream so we’ll see if I can find a really good one. They have one at Sally’s, but I always forget to pick it up when I’m there for hair color. Haha

img_8017

LiveBeautifullyBody – Feel Better Butter Rest & Relax – Retails for $3.50 – Pumped

This is the sample size and the bigger size retails for $15.00 for 2 oz. It is a body butter made of shea and cocoa butter with essential oils in it to help you relax and sleep and it smells so good. I have repurchased the larger size. It does help calm me to sleep, but I’ve also used it during meditation or when I’m feeling anxious.

img_8018

Derek Lam 10 Crosby – Rain Day – Full Size Retails for $95 for 1.7 oz – Meh

I mean, this smelled nice and I would purchase it if it weren’t so expensive. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll spend the money if the scent blows me away, but this wasn’t worth the $95 to me.

img_7956

Terry Mulger – Alien – Full Size Retails for $82 for 1 oz. – Pumped

Now this. This is worth the money for me and I’ve already purchased the full size. I love this scent. I can’t describe it so here are the notes. Solar Accord, Jasmine Sambac, Green Notes, Cashmeran, Vanilla, Transparent Amber. I don’t know what half of this stuff is, but it smells delicious.

img_7994

Nest – Citrine – Full Size Retails for $25 for the rollerball – Meh

I liked this scent, but I wouldn’t purchase the full size. It was just okay to me. It didn’t seem to last very long on me.

img_8013

Benefit – Roller Lash – Full Size Retails for $24.00 – Meh

Bare Minerals – Lash Domination – Full Size Retails for $19.00 – Dumped

MAC – False Lashes Extreme Black – Full Size Retails for $23.00 – Dumped

I really didn’t like any of these mascaras. The Roller Lash was okay, but I wouldn’t purchase the full size because I didn’t feel like it didn’t do anything spectacular to my lashes. The Lash Domination wand kept poking me in the eye and the formula was really watery so I didn’t even finish it. And the MAC mascara was just terrible to me. The wand and the formula did not work with my lashes at all.

img_8014

Supergoop – Defense Refresh Setting Mist SPF 50 – Full Size Retails for $12.00 for 1 oz – Dumped

This didn’t seem to make my makeup last longer and it sprayed out in a really wet spray versus a fine mist. I did like that it had an SPF in it, but it wasn’t a fun experience to use.

img_7955

Too Faced – Primed & Powerless Skin Smoothing Face Primer – Full Size Retails for $30.00 -Dumped

Cover Fx – Mattifying Primer – Full Size Retails for $38.00 – Dumped

I didn’t like either one of these primers. I tried them with different foundations and they made my foundation break apart and they balled up. I tried using a little, a lot, over different moisturizers and will different foundations. I don’t understand the hype, although I know that everyone’s skin is different.

img_7982

Burt’s Bees – Intense Hydration Eye Cream – Retails for $12.99 at Target – Pumped

I really liked this eye cream. It was thick, but it absorbed nicely and didn’t leave any residue behind so I could wear it under my makeup. I would repurchase if I could find it again.

img_7980

Burt’s Bees – Cleansing Oil – Full Size Retails for $15.99 for 6 oz – Meh

This worked okay for light makeup, but didn’t take all of my eye makeup off. I had to go back in with a micellar water to remove the rest of my eye makeup. I used it all, but I wouldn’t repurchase.

Thank y’all for reading about my trash and I hope that you are having a great week!

CROSSING 6 OFF OUR CHRISTMAS LIST PROJECT PAN CHALLENGE UPDATE #1

Standard

Time for my first update for my Crossing 6 off our Christmas List PP Challenge. You can read my intro post HERE. I chose 6 high end products to finish by Christmas so let’s take a look at how I’ve done so far! It’s been 5 weeks since my last post for reference.

img_8106

I made some pretty good progress on this Coach perfume and I like how it smells, but it doesn’t last very long so I wouldn’t repurchase it.

img_8040

I’ve been using this, but it’s going to take awhile to make some progress I guess. This is the same picture from last time. The line hasn’t moved at all.

img_8107

I’ve been making some progress on this primer as well and I really do love it, it just needs used up before it goes bad. I don’t want to waste such a great product.

img_8042

This is the same picture as well since I can’t see through the bottle to tell how much is left. I will say that I don’t like how it wears under lip products. Which is weird since it’s marketed as a primer. I don’t know that I’ll finish it, but we’ll see.

img_8108

I’ve made a little bit of progress on both of the lip products, which I’m happy with because I’ve been wearing different colors lately.

Overall, I’m happy with the progress so far. I’ve been trying to remember to integrate these products in my routine. 🙂

Thanks so much for reading! ❤ Ashlee

Crossing 6 Off Our Christmas List Project Pan Challenge Intro

Standard

I first heard about this challenge from GlamourWithGrace on YouTube. She collaborated with three other girls for this challenge where they picked six high end products to try and finish by Christmas.

Most of my high end products are eye shadows and lipsticks, which take quite a while to use up so I actually had a hard time choosing six products, but I was able to come up with some.

img_8037 img_8038

The first thing I chose was this Coach Poppy Flower perfume because I have a backup of it and it doesn’t have the best staying power so I would like to move it out of my collection. It retails for about $35 for an ounce depending on where you go. It’s described as citrusy, floral and fresh.

img_8039 img_8040

I chose this Model in a Bottle setting spray because I’ve had it for over a year now and I need to use it up. It’s a great setting spray, but it’s intense and feels like hairspray on your face. Lol that’s probably why it works so well. It retails for $19.95 + $5.00 shipping on the company’s website (which I’ve linked) or $17.41 with free shipping on Amazon, but the seller is not through Amazon so it’s up to you.

img_8041

Again, I’ve had this Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer for quite awhile and have been hoarding it away for special occasions…haha. However, it will end up going bad before it gets used if I do that because there aren’t many special occasions in my life these days. I’m old and boring and I love it. I love this primer and it’s basically full. I only used it on my sister for her wedding and that was it. This is the 0.33 oz bottle and it retails for $19.00 at Sephora.

img_8042

I never reach for this lip treatment from Clinique. It’s their All About Lips and I haven’t really found that  I’ve used it regularly enough to love or hate it, but it retails for $23.50. I can’t really tell how much is in here, but I haven’t used it very much. Maybe 5 times so I may not get through it, we’ll see.

img_8063

I love this High Pigment Pencil from Bite Beauty in Rhubarb and get a lot of compliments when I wear it, however, this is a mini and I have a second mini already in my collection as a backup. So…I’d like to move at least one mini out of my collection and if I’m still in love with it then I will purchase the full size. It’s described as a plum rose and the full size retails for $24.00 at Sephora. They actually have a little holiday set right now that includes this as well as another beautiful fall shade in the mini version for $14.00. They are very pigmented, creamy, satin finish and they last quite awhile on my lips. I love them and have several in different shades.

img_8064

Another mini that I’m in love with and trying to move out of my collection while still trying to decide if the full size is worth the price tag is this Marc Jacobs Poutliner Longer Lip Liner Pencil in Primrose. They describe the color as cocoa spice and the full size retails for $24.00. I will say that when I went to wipe the swatches off of my hand I had to really scrub to get this one off so I’m interested to see how it wears. I’ve never used it before so I’m excited. It’s a gel type formula and didn’t tug when I switched it, just glided on nicely.

img_8065

The top swatch is the Bite pencil and the bottom one is the Marc Jacobs liner.

So those are the 6 products that I hope to finish by Christmas! I know that some of them are minis and the perfume is half way gone, but trust me if I finish these I have plenty more to substitute in. 🙂

I hope that y’all are enjoying cooler weather and getting to bust out your sweaters and scarves and hoodies soon!

FINISH 5 BY FALL (+1 BONUS PRODUCT) – PROJECT PAN CHALLENGE – FINALE

Standard

The first official day of fall is 9/22/16 so it is time for my Finish 5 by Fall Project Pan Challenge Finale! Spoiler Alert, I didn’t finish all of my products, but I did a pretty decent job and I’m impressed with the progress that I’ve made. It’s been less than a month since my last update (which you can check out here) because I had a big gap between my first and second updates due to being ill most of July. You can read my first update and intro post here.

img_8016 Finale

IMG_7989 Second Update

IMG_7816 First Update

IMG_7635

Intro Pic

This is the It Cosmetics Celebration Foundation and I am really impressed with how much progress I’ve made during this project. I haven’t use it every day, by any means, and I’ve still hit major pan. I will continue using this until it’s used up and I already have a back up of it. I really love using it over a BB cream or by itself.

IMG_7992 img_8020

The top one is from the last update and the bottom one is the most recent. When I first started using it for the project it was a brand new shadow and this is a ColourPop shadow in Hanky Panky. It’s hard to tell progress with these shadows because of their consistency. They kind of just get smushed around in the pan, but I do love using this as a base or by itself so I will continue using it, but maybe not every day because I’m not in a huge hurry to use it up now that I know that I love it.

I did declutter that entire Lorac palette though so I’ll count that as using up a product.

img_8015

I used up this Marc Jacobs gloss on top of the Too Faced one so that is 2 glosses total, but since they were deluxe sample sizes I’ll count them as one.

I decluttered the Sinful Colors polish that I originally had in the project so I’ll count that as a product used up so we’re up to 3.

img_8021

I’ve made great progress on the Model Co lip liner and actually just got a new one in my Lip Monthly box. Lol I will continue using it up and move on to another liner in my collection, probably a darker one for fall. We’ll just have to see. I have been using that UD Naked mini lipstick, but it just doesn’t want to show any progress! I will continue using it up and have a full size back up in my collection, but I am getting sick of the color so I may have to switch it up for the next PP challenge.

Overall, I finished 3 of the 6 products and made major progress on the lip liner and foundation so I’m happy with the way this challenge went. I’ll have to check around to see if there are any fun PP challenges floating around other than the 13 by Halloween because I already know I won’t finish 13 products in 6 weeks. Haha.

I hope that y’all have a great week! ❤

FINISH 5 BY FALL (+1 BONUS PRODUCT) – PROJECT PAN CHALLENGE – UPDATE #2

Standard

It’s been 9 weeks since my last update because I was sick the entire month of July and didn’t use any of the products/didn’t wear any makeup. You can read my update #1 here and my intro post here!

IMG_7989 IMG_7816

I’ve made some good progress considering I went an entire month without wearing any makeup!

IMG_7992

I ended up decluttering that Lorac palette (gave it to my mom) so I added in this Colourpop shadow in Hanky Panky, but I forgot to take a before picture so here is where I am right now.

IMG_7990

I used up the Too Faced gloss so I added in the Marc Jacobs gloss in Kissability. It’s not my favorite and I already know that I wouldn’t purchase the full size, but there isn’t very much in the tube so I will finish it up pretty quickly.

I ended up tossing that Sinful Colors polish because it just kept getting thicker and thicker. I didn’t add in another polish because I am currently going through all of my polishes to declutter them at the moment.

IMG_7991

I made pretty good progress on both the lipliner as well as the Naked lipstick. I anticipate using up the lipliner for sure if not both products by the end of the project.

I have about 3 1/2 weeks left in the project and I am going to guess that the lip products will be used up, but that the powder foundation will not be and possibly the eyeshadow depending on how often I wear makeup between now and then. It’s a cream shadow so it’s hard to tell. My next post will be the finale post so we’ll just have to see!

Thank you so much for reading and I hope that you are having a great weekend! ❤

EMPTIES – #20 WOULD I REPURCHASE? (PUMPED OR DUMPED)

Standard

I know that I just posted an Empties post about a week ago, but I mentioned in that post that I needed to break it up because I had so many of them so that this part two to that post.

IMG_7567

White Cloud – Cotton Squares – Retails for $3.50? I can’t find them online – Meh

These are okay. I’ve talked about them on here before about how the “stitched” areas sometimes felt scratchy. I finished these a couple months ago and have been using cotton wash cloths that are usually used as reusable baby wipes and they work great as reusable makeup remover wipes. I won’t be purchasing cotton rounds/squares or makeup wipes anymore.

IMG_7678

Clinique – Rinse Off Foaming Cleanser – Full Size Retails for $20.00 – Meh

This cleanser worked okay for me, but I’ve just realized over the years that I prefer a gel cleanser vs. a foaming or milky one. I think that it’s because I have combo to oily skin so I don’t need the added moisture that usually accompanies foaming cleansers so my face just feels cleaner with gel cleansers. I wouldn’t purchase the full size.

IMG_7679

Live Beautifully Body Etsy Shop – Feel Better Butter Aches & Pains – Sample Retails for $3.50 – Pumped

I have already purchased the full size of this and am obsessed. I have arthritis, a bulging disc that is pressing on my sciatic nerve that is pending surgery and fibromyalgia so I know all about aches and pains and this really does help. This Etsy shop has no idea who I am and I’ve purchased several other things from them. Their shipping is quick, packaging is adorable and their products are great quality. I just like purchasing from Etsy because I know that I’m supporting small business!

IMG_7685

Wet n Wild – Mega Protein Mascara – Retails for $1.79 – $2.99 depending – Pumped

Y’all…I am a mascara snob and usually only use high end mascara, but this baby had my lashes looking amazing. I have already repurchased. I had upwards of 7-8 people ask me what mascara I was wearing whenever I had this on. I couldn’t believe that it kept my lashes curled and gave me volume and length.

IMG_7714

Elf – Shimmer Gloss – Retails for $2.00 – Pumped

The little sticker on the bottom fell off so I’m not sure what color this was, but I need to find it because I got a lot of compliments on this $2.00 gloss too! It went on smooth, wasn’t sticky, but lasted quite awhile. This was in my last PP Challenge and I finally finished it off.

IMG_7716

Sephora – Triple Action Cleansing Water – Retails for $6.00 – Pumped

This worked really well to remove my makeup and leave my skin feeling clean and soft. I would repurchase if the drugstore options I have in my stash don’t stack up.

IMG_7745

Olay – Active Botanicals Refreshing Gel Cleanser – Retails for $5.99 – Pumped

I received this cleanser from Influenster and have been looking for it in stores since I finished it! I love it. It was kind of minty and left my face feeling soothed and clean and calm. I will definitely purchase it if I am able to find it in stores!

IMG_7713

Olay – Oil Minimizing Toner – Retails for $4.99 – Meh

This seemed to tone my skin okay, but I have been using my Clinique Clarifying Lotion and I just like it so much better for my skin. I wouldn’t repurchase this one. It wasn’t terrible, I just prefer the results I get from other toners.

Thanks so much for reading my feelings on my trash! 🙂 I hope that you’re having a great week!

FINISH 5 BY FALL (+1 BONUS PRODUCT) – PROJECT PAN CHALLENGE – UPDATE #1

Standard

It’s been 6 weeks since my Intro post for my Finish 5 by Fall PP Challenge so it’s time for an update!

IMG_7635 IMG_7816

The bottom picture is the more recent one if you were unable to tell. There is a tiny bit more pan showing, but not a ton. I haven’t made as much progress as I’ve wanted to since it’s been 6 weeks already, but I also haven’t been wearing a ton of makeup so it’ll do for now. I’ll just keep working on it!

IMG_7634

This is the same picture…I have used it a few times, but you couldn’t tell when I took another picture. *sigh* I will just keep shoving my brush into it waiting for that pan to peek through. Lbs.

IMG_7818

This was new at the start of the challenge so I’ve made some progress, but I feel like I should have made much more in 6 weeks. I just popped the stopper out because I was having to dip it in like 7 or 8 times just to get enough for my lips. I know that they’re full, but that was getting old. Since the stopper is out I have a feeling that I’ll be using it more and will make much better progress. PS I love this gloss and hate that it’s discontinued. 😦

IMG_7624

*eye roll emoji* This is the same picture too! I did get a gel manicure with my friend so I had another shade on my nails for 2 of the weeks, but I have been using it. It is getting pretty thick at this point so IF it makes it to the end of this challenge I’m just going to toss what ever is left.

IMG_7815

I’ve made good progress on the lip liner at least! (I’m measuring from the bottom right corner lol it’s the only way it would fit on the post it) That should be gone by the end of the challenge! And the lipstick is a different shape, but it really isn’t any lower. I need to remember that I have it bouncing around in my purse since it’s so small of a bullet.

Overall, I have made some tiny progress on some of the products, but I really need to remember which products I have in this challenge or I’m going to end up in a project pan funk. lol so dramatic.

Thanks so much for reading and I hope that y’all are having a great weekend!!

EMPTIES – #19 WOULD I REPURCHASE? (PUMPED OR DUMPED)

Standard

It’s been almost 3 months since my last empties post! There are so many so I’m going to split it up because who has time to read a super long post about trash amirite?

IMG_7612

Clinique – Take the Day Off Makeup Remover – Retails for $9.50 – Pumped

This worked really well for removing my makeup, but I’m moving toward cleaning oils and then just coconut oil once I’m out of the stash I have. 🙂 If I were to purchase another makeup remover though I would pick this one up again.

IMG_7676

Bath & Body Works – Carried Away Fragrance Mist – Retails for $14.00, currently on sale for $8.00 – Half – Pumped

I had this in so many Project Pans and I finally finished it! 🙂 It smells nice, but it doesn’t last very long at all so I won’t purchase anymore BBW fragrance mists.

IMG_7486

beautyblender – beautyblender pure – Retails for $20.00 – Pumped

I love beautyblenders and I really liked using the white one because the color didn’t bleed out when I washed it. I don’t really care if it looks dirty and stains, etc. but I can see where that could bother people.

IMG_7502 IMG_7727

Korres – Greek Yoghurt Advanced Nourishing Sleeping Facial – Full Size Retails for $45.00 – Half-pumped

I really liked this sleeping facial, but I don’t feel like my skin needs this amount of hydration until maaaayybbee winter. I think that it’s better suited for people with dry skin, but it did make my skin feel nice!

IMG_7507

Jergens – Wet Skin Moisturizer with Nourishing Monoi Oil – Retails for $7.99 – Pumped

This smells amazing and you put it on after the shower and pat dry versus having to rinse it off like some other in shower moisturizers. I felt like it worked really well and would repurchase.

IMG_7524

Living Proof – Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo – Retails for $12.00 – Pumped

I liked this dry shampoo and felt like it worked really well, smelled nice and would purchase again if it weren’t so stinking expensive!

IMG_7528

Make Up Forever – Instant Brush Cleanser – Retails for $12.00 – Pumped

This cleanser cleaned my brushes quickly and didn’t leave them greasy. It was nice to use in between my deep cleans!

IMG_7565

Clinique – Turnaround Daytime Revitalizing Moisturizer – Full Size Retails for $38.00 – Dumped

I got this in a kit and I didn’t know that it was glittery until I got to work and was like ;-O I look insane. LOL I had put my makeup and everything on at 5:30 am so I hadn’t really paid attention, but this was crazy. I ended up using it as a body lotion on my legs so nobody could see it.

IMG_7572

Naobay – Oxygenating Cream Moisturizer – Retails for $36.00 – Pumped

I got this in a subscription box, but I’ve never subscribed to Birchbox even though that’s the only place I really found where you can buy it so I have no idea which one I got it in. Lol Anyway it was a really nice moisturizer and I would repurchase if it were easier to get my hands on.

IMG_7573 IMG_7575

Tarte – Deep Dive Cleansing Gel – Full Size Retails for $25.00 – Meh

Tarte – Marine Boosting Mist – Full Size Retails for $25.00 – Meh

These were both okay, but they didn’t blow me away and I wouldn’t purchase the full sizes. I didn’t notice anything special about the cleanser so I wouldn’t spend $25 on it and I prefer the Caudalie Beauty Elixir over this mist.

IMG_7762

Yves Rocher – Clay Mask – Retails for $3.50 – Pumped

I actually had two of these tubes in my empties and I love this mask. If I ever place another Yves Rocher order I will definitely order the big tube. It makes my skin feel clean and exfoliated, but it isn’t a really thick and hard to remove mask.

I will put another post up soon with the remaining empties! 🙂 Thanks so much for reading and I hope that you’re having a great day!

DUMPED PRODUCTS #4 – PRODUCTS THAT DIDN’T WORK FOR ME

Standard

So it’s been about 3 months since I did my last Dumped Products post and I’ve accumulated quite a bit of products that I just haven’t been impressed with. This doesn’t include the colors the didn’t match, etc that I’ve passed along to my mom, sister and friends. These are just products that I wouldn’t even bother giving to anyone else. If they’ve worked for you, great…I want them to! I want them to work for someone because then it will have made sense for them to have actually put them out for purchase. Lol okay let me move on:

IMG_7481

It’s been discontinued…Whelp, it’s because it didn’t remove even light makeup. Lol moving on.

IMG_7525

Tarte – Flush Cheek Stain – Full Size is $30.00

This blended out into nothingness. I’m fair so I don’t see how this would work on anyone, and yet…it has great reviews? Lol Idk y’all. I even tried to take a picture of the swatch and it just looked like a picture of my hand.

IMG_7613

Michael Todd – Citrus Cream Moisturizer – Full Size Retails for $29

So the website now says for mature and dry skin and I will agree with THAT claim, but these tubes say for all skin types and no ma’am. They are very greasy and didn’t soak into my skin at all so I couldn’t even use it as a night cream because it all ended up in my hair and on my pillow.

IMG_7614

Too Faced – Lip Insurance lip primer – Full Size Retails for $20.00

This is so sticky that it made several different lip products apply super patchy. *side eye emoji* I prefer my All About Lips from Clinique or literally nothing at all compared to this.

IMG_7627

Wella – Dry Me dry shampoo – Retails for $18.99, but possibly discontinued

This “dry” shampoo has a really wet formula defeating the purpose. It’s almost like it’s too much alcohol and not enough of the white powdery stuff. Listen, I’m not a chemist, but you need more dry ingredients than the wet ones in order for it to be a DRY shampoo amirite?

IMG_7629

I have no idea which EcoTools brush this is, but it was so scratchy. (Very helpful) I’ve found that their brushes are just hit or miss on softness. It’s been up cycled.

IMG_7632

Makeup Revolution – Ultra All Day Prime & Anti-Shine Balm – Retails for $10.00

This stuff is like chapstick maybe? I don’t know how to explain it’s texture, but I hate it. LOL It’s so greasy and moved my makeup when I tried to apply it. It was an all around fail and has terrible reviews on ULTA’s website, but I ordered from the MR website itself so I didn’t know. 😦

IMG_7677

Smashbox – Photo Finish Primer – Full Size Retails for $36.00

Y’all. This has such a cult following and I know that it doesn’t look like I even touched it, but I tried it several times with different moisturizers and different foundations and it always just made my foundation sit on my skin versus blending in. It looked horrible every time and it always led back to this primer. I can’t use it.

IMG_7715

Makeup Revolution – Oil Control Fixing Spray – Retails for $8.00

Here’s another fail from Makeup Revolution (I normally love their products!!!). This not only did nothing for making my makeup last longer or making me look less powdery or my skin feel more hydrated or controlling my oils or anything at all it also seemed to make my makeup break down faster. It has great reviews on ULTA’s site so idk if it’s just me, but I tried it several different times with different combos and it all led back to this spray. I will stick to my Model in a Bottle and UD setting sprays I guess.

IMG_7717

Neutrogena – Healthy Skin Boosters facial cleanser – Full Size Retails for $7.47

This didn’t seem to clean my skin at all. It says that it won’t over dry skin, but it didn’t leave my skin feeling clean either. And when I used a toner afterward my cotton would look like I hadn’t even washed my face. 😦

IMG_7718

L’Oreal – Texture Perfector Pore Vanisher – Retails for $19.99

This broke me out and made my makeup separate just like the Smashbox primer. I wasn’t impressed with this formula at all.

IMG_7726

Sephora – Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover – Retails for $11.00

I had to use a ton of this and rub really hard to get it to work so I just tossed it. It isn’t worth it to me to lose lashes and irritate my eyes by rubbing to get my non waterproof mascara off when I can just use a cleansing oil or coconut oil.

IMG_7754

Wet n Wild – MegaGlo All-in-One Highlighting Stick – Retail for $3.99/each

These are another product that have really good reviews, but just blended out into nothing on me. Maybe I blend too much?! Idk y’all, but these were not as amazing as the powder highlighters from their LE Summer Collection.

IMG_7761

Rusk – Deepshine Color Care Lock-In Treatment – Retails for $11.00 online idk about in salons

This didn’t seem to prolong my hair color and it made my head itchy every time I used it. Idk what I’m allergic to in it, but it wasn’t worth it to me.

IMG_7764

Aveeno – Absolutely Ageless Restorative Nightcream – Retails for $21.99

I used this as a body lotion because it was so fragranced and made my skin burn. I don’t know if it was the blackberry complex orrrrrr *shrug emoji* but it was not for my face skin. Worked well on my arms though.

IMG_7765

Jouer – Essential Lip Enhancer – Full Size Retails for $16.00

This felt so greasy on my lips and tasted absolutely terrible. I had to wipe it off shortly after applying it.  I was surprised since it was by Jouer, but noooo thank you.

Thanks so much for reading my Negative Nancy reviews! I hope that y’all are having a great day and that you stay safe if you’re close to where this crazy weather is suppose to hit!

Fall?! It’s not even Summer. I know…I know…however, the first day of Fall is September 22. That gives me a little more than 4 months to finish this challenge vs. 3 months that I normally have. So I am choosing products that I think may take longer to use up and if they don’t then I will just replace them like I always do. 🙂

It Cosmetics – Celebration Foundation – Retails for $35.00 (I always pick it up during their 20% FF sale)

I love this foundation and wear it alone on light makeup days or set my It Cosmetics CC Cream with it if I want a little bit more coverage, but don’t necessarily want to go full blown KVD Lock It foundation that day. However, I already have a backup and would like to move it out of my collection to get to my backup.

This shadow is from a pretty bulky Lorac palette in purple croc print packaging. I couldn’t find it online, but if I use up this shadow I’ll just move down the palette. I just want the palette itself out of my collection because it’s so bulky.

This too has been discontinued, which leads me to believe that it’s been in my collection far too long. Again, if I use it up before the challenge is over I promise you that I have tons more glosses to take it’s place. Lol

Sinful Colors – Sharon’s Heart – Retails for $2.99 + $4.99 shipping on Amazon….$2.00 if you can find in stores.

I’m rolling this over from my previous challenge since I didn’t make much of a dent. I like the color and it lasts a decent time on my nails for a $2.00 polish.

The line at the bottom left corner is a little mini Urban Decay lipstick in the shade Naked. It is unused at the moment. If I use it up I have other mini lipsticks or a full sized version of the shade Naked that I can replace it with. Ironically enough…those are all being discontinued right now too. LOL To be replaced with their Vice lipsticks that are coming out. I don’t know if they’ll have Naked in that formula or not.

Model Co – Illusion Nude Lip Liner – Retails for $20.00

I got this in some subscription box awhile ago. It is basically the same color as my lips it just helps my lipstick stay on longer. I just want to move it out since I’ve had it so long and I have so many lip liners this shade.

Alrighty, those are my 6 products that I want to finish my September 22. They may seem like no brainers to some people, but I don’t really wear makeup every day and after doing some challenges I’m realizing how long it takes me to use products up!

Thanks so much for reading! Have a great week!!
